Agents to gain competitive advantage at innovation event

Agents will be treated to a number of forward-thinking strategies, in an upcoming event set to highlight the opportunities for digital innovation and business growth.

Now in its second consecutive year, REB’s REinnovate 2016 conference will be held at Sydney’s Star Event Centre on 4 April, delivering practical insights and universal ideologies for immediate application in any real estate office.

Host of ABC TV's The New Inventors, James O’Loghlin, will be the MC at the one-day conference and will introduce the event’s speakers while also providing agents with his own tips and ideas for transforming their businesses.

Kicking off the conference will be Steve Sammartino, expert on the digital revolution and disruptive technologies.

Mr Sammartino’s session will show agents how to capitalise on cost-effective digital marketing tools to increase client engagement.

Next up, Mr O’Loghlin will discuss why real estate professionals need to be continuously innovating and share ideas on how to adapt to change and build a workplace culture that encourages innovation.

Following Mr O’Loghlin will be managing director and founder of The LAB Strategy, Neal Cotton, whose session, 'Man Versus Machine', will reveal the extent to which agents will lean on technology in the future.

After lunch and networking, Mr O’Loghlin will take to the stage once again to moderate a panel session in which some of the industry’s top agents will reveal how they are implementing creative initiatives, using digital strategies to future-proof their business, and embracing disruption as an opportunity to dominate their local markets.

The last session of the day will be led by CoreLogic RP Data's CEO, Graham Mirabito, who will discuss how agents can build a robust referral and lead generation business through data analysis.

Following the REinnovate conference, REB’s Top 100 Agents 2016 will commence, unveiling the best real estate agents from across the country.
