New Zealander Phil McGoldrick has won the 2009 Australasian Real Estate Institute's Auctioneering Championships.
Mr McGoldrick, who is the national auction manager for the Harcourt’s group in New Zealand, beat out 16 other auctioneers from both Australia and New Zealand to claim victory.
It is the third consecutive year that a New Zealander has won the Championship which dates back to 1993.
“New Zealand may have taken the trophy home again, however, the overall standard of the competition continues to improve. It was a tough competition with a challenging bidding scenario and all finalists performed well,” Real Estate Institute of New Zealand president Mike Elford said.
