Group offers an Audi as incentive for sales

One major group will give all its sales agents the opportunity to win a new Audi, just by listing and selling property.

CEO of LJ Hooker, Georg Chmiel, told Real Estate Business that the LJ Hooker Audi Summer Sprint competition will help push agents to list and sell more property.

“It’s virtually an integrated push to drive sales within the group,” he said. “It all targets our LJ Hooker conference summit in May where the winner will drive away in a new Audi.”

”People in all parts of the franchise offices can earn tickets to enter the competition, for example, every three sales will earn you a ticket. Or for every five listings, you get a ticket. These tickets all go into the draw and get cascaded up until 10 people are left.

“The 10 come to the conference in May and they all get a key, the person whose key opens the car wins the Audi A4 S-line, worth around $75,000.”

“It’s spicing up the practice of having quarterly campaigns in our industry. We’re borrowing ideas from other industries, and aligning ourselves with a brand of a similar theme.

“In fact, Audi’s tagline is very similar to how we approach our industry, even if it’s in German. 'Vorsprung durch technic' means advancement through technology,” Mr Chmiel said.

Mr Chmiel said he encourages his group's agents to participate.

“You can win a ticket for referring a client to LJ Hooker Home Loans as well, so there are many ways to enter.”
