Bendigo and Adelaide Bank will continue to sponsor the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s (REIA) flagship market data and analysis publications, Real Estate Market Facts and the Housing Affordability Report.

"We’re very excited to have such a respected partner on board to ensure the continuation of these important publications," said REIA president, Peter Bushby.

“Our first year in partnership was highly successful. Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has locked in a solid partnership to the real estate profession and consumers.”

Executive of Bendigo Wealth John Billington said his organisation’s involvement would benefit customers and business partners such as mortgage brokers and independent financial planners.

“Nobody understands the real estate industry like the Institute and its members, and this partnership gives us additional insights that we can use for the benefit of customers,” he said.

General manager of third party lending at Adelaide Bank, Damian Percy, said he was pleased to be able to continue supporting the quarterly Housing Affordability Report.

“The Housing Affordability Report is an important publication and a pertinent reminder that housing is more than an asset class,” he said.

“Appropriate and affordable housing underpins stable and successful communities. We forget that at our peril.”
