Despite low stock, one network has posted a record month with help from the winner of REB’s Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2016.

There’s been plenty of talk about low levels of stock in recent months, especially as the build up to Christmas begins.

However, low stock has not affected Ray White Victoria which posted a record month in October, achieving $651 million in sales despite a reported 20 per cent drop in stock levels for the state.

“It’s been a fantastic year and we’re thrilled with the energy within the group. Our business owners are performing exceptionally well and we’re confident our sales levels will continue to lift,” Ray White Victoria CEO Domenic Belfiore said.

“It’s incredible to see our listing share increase as the market tightens. Over the past four months, we’ve seen our numbers steadily rise. There’s a real buzz in the air.”

Ray White has a secret weapon in its arsenal – the number one agent in REB’s Top 50 Women rankings, Helen Yan, the director of Ray White Balwyn.

Ms Yan recorded $25 million worth of sales in October, proving that top agents can perform even in low stock markets.

“Helen was named the number one female in real estate across the country so it’s no surprise she’s hit the ground running as a business owner,” Mr Belfiore said.

Ms Yan has worked in the Balwyn area for six years. She was previously with hockingstuart and moved to Ray White in August.

Ray White will be opening another office in Victoria in December. Ray White Ringwood will bring the brand’s number of offices in the state to 91.
