As the business of real estate continues to evolve, the influence on it of technology will continue to be magnified, but one prominent Queensland network has said that it will never replace the value of good old-fashioned customer service.
“Customer experience is the core of every good business. You can add as much tech as you want to any business; however, it all comes back to the experience you offer the customer,” said Coronis managing director Andrew Coronis.
But Mr Coronis also said that tech plays an important role in creating the right environment to do business in.
“We have identified key software that can help immensely improve the user experience,” the MD said.
“Moving forward, the industry will need to bring major listing sites and the customer transaction closer together.”
He said that Coronis is currently working with various software partners, such as Google, Bing and Microsoft, to make that a reality for its clients.
Mr Coronis added that working with an international “tech giant” has made a significant impact on the business.
“We integrated Swedish tech giant Diakrit into our company in early 2017 who offer state-of-the-art technology and innovative software to enhance the real estate experience.
“This has resulted in increased levels of engagement on our listings and helps the buyer mentally move into a property before even walking through it.”
He said that the results have been remarkable.
“We have tripled the amount of leads into the business and doubled our web users in the past six months alone by utilising systems that smart-segment audiences and communicate in a timely and appropriate manner.
“This is on par with world-leading digital strategies learned from top-tier multi-global corporations.”
Mr Coronis said that when he took over his father’s business in 2002, his goal was to build a network of 50 offices without franchising.
“Today, our team of 300-plus property professionals collaboratively work together offering our clients sales, property management, conveyancing, home loans, financial planning and building and pest inspections under the same roof.”
