The latest version of REST Professional from Rockend focuses on automated invoice processing and saving time within property management businesses.
REST Professional Version 11.5 and fileSMART Version 5.6 were revealed last week, with new features promoting electronic movement of documents around the office to save time.
According to Rockend CEO John Goddard, Melbourne attendees at a user meeting who witnessed the new features broke into applause.
“That was a feature where we’re automating the invoice approval process,” Camilla Vorrasi, product manager at Rockend, said.
“What that means now is that you're able to scan documents directly into fileSMART. But if they’re invoices, fileSMART will read those invoices and their data and automatically go across to REST Professional ready for processing.”
The further integration between REST and fileSMART has been an enormous success, according to Mr Goddard. However, many users still aren’t using the products to their full potential.
"There are so many things we’ve put into the products that there can sometimes be an overload with clients in terms of new functions and features. The key here is training,” Mr Goddard said.
Ms Vorrasi also noted other features, including duplicate creditor disbursement warnings, owner and tenant portal enhancements, user details enhancements (including inactive user status), sales enhancements, web advertising enhancements, KPI report enhancements, REST mobile version 5.0, and REI forms integration extended to WA, SA and NT.
