Last week Residential Property Manager asked PMs to share the biggest misconceptions their friends and family have about the industry.

There are so many loose ideas floating around about what exactly a property manager’s job entails. 

Are they a key manager? A repair person? A property safety supervisor? A rent collector? A routine inspector? Or just perhaps a jack of all trades.

Property managers commented on the stereotypes they are grouped in with on the RPM Facebook page
