Random Rentals: Home fit for a cave man

Random Rentals: Home fit for a cave man

by Staff Reporter 0 comments

If you ever have a tenant ask if you have any caves available to rent, this is the place to send them.

Coober Pedy in South Australia has many cave houses, such as this one, which is available to rent (see below).

The home features three underground bedrooms and an underground living area, while the kitchen and bathroom are above ground.

The property also offers clear views of Coober Pedy’s outback landscape, and all for just $200 a week.

Commonly known as dugouts, these cave-like homes are found throughout Coober Pedy.

They are bored into hillsides to escape the heat, which in summer often exceeds 40 degrees.
