The Agency has taken a significant step in embedding itself into Sydney’s Illawarra region by signing on a well-established local expert agent, along with his entire operation of 52 staff members and 800 properties under management.

Jordan Andonovski exited McGrath Wollongong, Thirroul and Shellharbour where he sold approximately 400 properties throughout 2016 and was the recipient of multiple awards, including the REINSW excellence award for medium-sized agencies and the McGrath award for most outstanding regional office.

In tandem with the move, a number of agents have signed on to Jordan’s operation, including well-known agent and auctioneer Justin Sydenham, formerly of Bevans Thirroul.

The Agency CEO Matt Lahood said that there are great synergies in Mr Andonovski’s joining The Agency.

“Jordan Andonovski embodies the type of people we want in our business,” the CEO said. “Client-focused, staff-focused and passionate about delivering the best service via the best platforms.”

“A local all his life, the town, his team and the community mean an enormous amount to Jordan and we want to support him, support his community.

“Jordan’s business joining our business marks a strong ethical alignment.”

Mr Andonovski said that he is “acutely” aware of the changing nature of the real estate landscape, and that it was time to take his team in a new direction.

“Joining The Agency, our business has joined forces with an elite group of professionals. This signifies new energy and we are focused on giving our clients and employees the best experience on a professional level,” Mr Andonovski said.

“The Agency is a growing brand, yet it retains a stylish and boutique feel in its marketing. It provides us with a flexible environment where we can market and run our business in the most responsive way to local demand.”

Mr Andonovski said that his priority is to remain competitive and deliver a “premium” level of service.

“Adaptability in the marketplace is key, and by offering agents a share in the bigger picture of the business, which this model provides, we will attract high-calibre agents who are aligned with our culture.”

Mr Andonovski said that there is an increasing demand for Illawarra properties from Sydney-based and interstate buyers.
