Submissions are now open for the industry-recognised REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate for 2018, recognising the best in female talent in the industry.

The rankings are a benchmark of success for women in Australian real estate and are based on metrics from the 2017 calendar year for settled residential sales, covering number of sales, sales volume and average selling price.

Now in its third year, the ranking highlights and celebrates the industry’s ground-breaking women and continues to set right the status quo where their achievements are recognised and properly represented.

The top-ranked female agent last year was Helen Yan from Ray White, whose total value of properties sold was over $195 million.

The typical Top 50 woman agent for 2017 had an average of 15 years experience, an average sales price of $1.50 million and an average commission earned of 1.78 per cent.

REB editor Tim Neary said that he expected this year’s list to be more competitive than ever.

“The ranking will once again showcase the industry’s high-performance woman agents,” Mr Neary said.

Mr Neary added that the cooling house market and technology disruption meant that agents had to work harder to get the best for their clients, adding to the significance of the ranking.

“While the agents resting on their laurels are right to feel a little concerned, those putting the hours in, doing the right things in their local catchment areas will always be in demand,” Mr Neary said.

If you are one of the country’s top-performing female agents, then this is your chance to be recognised and rewarded for all your hard work and success.
