Video and report-building start-up HomePrezzo has scored a major win with the appointment of a high-profile real estate industry executive.
Outgoing head of content and real estate marketing at CoreLogic Kylie Davis has joined the company.
Ms Davis has had an extensive media career, with senior editorial roles at both Fairfax and News Corp where she worked with Tom Panos as the network editor of real estate. For the past four and a half years, she was the head of content and real estate marketing at CoreLogic.
She holds an MBA from the University of NSW.
At CoreLogic, Ms Davis managed go-to-market campaigns for the real estate products and authored an wide list of reports on customer experience and the future of real estate.
Most recently, she appeared on the main stage at Inman Connect in San Francisco, talking about how robots would change real estate to an audience of 2,500.
HomePrezzo founder Nathan Krisanski said that Ms Davis has a reputation as an industry and technology thought leader, and a champion of change for higher professional standards for agents.
“Kylie has an extensive background in content creation and publishing and is one of the industry’s most articulate voices on content marketing and how agents need to build relationships with customers before they try to sell to them,” the founder said.
Ms Davis will hold the role of chief sales and marketing officer.
She will consult with clients on content automation and help in the expansion of HomePrezzo products.
She said she that was thrilled with her new role.
“I’m super excited to be working with HomePrezzo,” Ms Davis said.
“I’ve loved the product since I first saw it and think the ability to automate the creation of content — both written and visual — is hugely powerful and much needed by agents.”
Ms Davis also said that she and Mr Krisanski are collaborating on a real estate content syndication start-up.
HomePrezzo recently launched in New Zealand and is now working on a US launch.
