Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is making a foray into the Victorian market, announcing that it is opening a new Richmond office.
The Richmond location will be operated by Michael and Laurel Sloan, and will provide residential sales and property management services for the Richmond area as well as inner-city Melbourne and surrounds.
Michael and Laurel Sloan, who have worked together for more than 20 years, have been reported as initially operating as mortgage brokers and property mentors before they created The Successful Investor, which was a real estate business specialising in property investment sales.
Commenting on the alignment with the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand, Mr Sloan said: “The time felt right for us to take our business to the next phase by joining the iconic Better Homes and Gardens brand, which really resonates with us, our values and the way we service our customers.
“Our philosophy has always been a total commitment to looking after our clients, and to educate and inform them.”
Laurel Sloan has been named as spearheading the office’s property management offering, with a particular interest in helping single or single-again women plan for the future.
A statement from the company said the new Richmond office will see the lifestyle brand “expand its presence as it focuses on strategic locations across the east coast of Australia”.
Commenting on the new Richmond offering, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate CEO Michelle Delaney said: “We are so pleased to not only open our first Victorian office, but to do this with people whose values are so aligned with our brand.
“Michael and Laurel have already proven they can succeed in real estate, and I am confident our marketing, training and technology will contribute to their success as a BHGRE office.”
The announcement comes as Ms Delaney has noted “really strong traction with regard to growing the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network”.
