The team at Ouwens Casserly Projects in Adelaide has a reason to celebrate, taking out two marketing awards in two days.
The company was awarded the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s Excellence in Marketing 2019 award and the Real Estate Institute of South Australia’s 2019 Project Marketing Developments prize.
The recognition comes as a result of the success of its Live Third Avenue project. It is a development of 27 town houses only 2 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. It has had an exceptional sales rate, and the popularity of the project was recognised, Ouwens Casserly Real Estate projects director Rob Mitchell said.
It stood out because of its digital campaign which set it apart from its competitors in the Adelaide marketplace, he said.
“At this time, buyers are more and more prepared when searching for property,” he said. “The more resourceful people are in finding information online, the quicker they are to be sceptical and wary of an advertiser who does not provide enough information.
“In a conscious effort to be industry leaders with Live Third Avenue, our digital strategy has made a positive contribution to the industry as a whole by being upfront, open and honest with the project time frames, offering and pricing.”
The precision of its marketing tools is what drew REISA’s attention as it looked for specific marketing strategies that led to successful results.
“With the digital campaign, we can see exactly how many people clicked on a link or ad and provide real, quantitative data in the REISA awards submission — as opposed to a print media strategy where you can only have qualitative or anecdotal evidence,” Mr Mitchell said.
Ouwens Casserly managing director Nathan Casserly said: “It has taken us three years to perfect our digital platform and marketing strategy for projects, for which we are now seeing exceptional sales results.
“The professionalism and commitment of fellow director Rob Mitchell and the whole projects team is highlighted by winning these awards.”
