Macquarie Relationship Banking has appointed Wayne Tower as head of its commercial real estate agency segment, leading the business’ focus on providing business banking services and funding to agencies in the commercial real estate industry.

Macquarie said Mr Tower has been with the company for the past six years, and has held the role of commercial real estate segment head for NSW for the last two years. He had more than 11 years experience in business banking, the company added.

David Gonano, head of sales at Macquarie Relationship Banking, said Mr Tower will focus on further promoting the business’ growth in the commercial real estate agency segment.

“Commercial real estate agents [are] one of our largest segments and despite the challenging market environment we are continuing to see strong growth."

“Wayne will be focusing on the national coordination of our strategies to ensure we continue to provide a unique service offering to our clients by delivering innovation and excellent service.

“Our ability to offer dedicated relationship managers, solutions that improve efficiencies in our clients’ back office, and payment and cashflow funding services is, we believe, unmatched in the market."
