A real estate franchise group that commenced in 2007 and has grown to 19 shopfronts expects to double in size in four years, its general manager has said.

“Your Property Agent (YPA) has evolved in the last four years through a unique growth strategy and excellent market research prior to each store opening,” the company’s general manager, Sam Amore, said.

“Our focus is not just on development of the network in terms of numbers - we also dedicate a lot of time to the continued success of our current group.

“However, continued and steady growth is important to any franchise. We have no set limits [on growth] and current indications confirm our future growth will accelerate on the averages of the last four years,” Mr Amore told Real Estate Business.

The franchise group’s first office opened in the Melbourne suburb of Taylors Lakes, and its 19 offices are located in and around the western and north western suburbs of Melbourne.

While the group has attracted interest from potential franchisees in the north eastern and inner suburban areas of Melbourne, Mr Amore said YPA was also looking further afield.

“We are keen to develop our network interstate and have already had discussions with real estate agencies in NSW and Queensland,” he said.

“A national presence is indeed in our short-term plans.”
