Domain.com.au continues to diversify with a new consumer mortgage assessment tool, Get the Real Picture, which offers home loan product recommendations based on a chosen property and an individual’s financial situation.

Get the Real Picture will be powered by eChoice.com.au and will compare hundreds of mortgage products from 25 bank and non-bank lenders.

Each home loan product option suggested to the individual is generated through an independent evaluation of the applicant’s specific needs, without preference towards any particular financial institution, and using the same technology that was once only available to mortgage brokers and lenders.

The new service will appear as a ‘button’ alongside pre-selected Domain properties and as a featured website tool.

Get the Real Picture’s ability to uniquely source home loan products empowers consumers to make informed and accurate decisions at any stage of the property lifecycle, including when buying their first home, investment property or when refinancing an existing purchase.

“We believe Get the Real Picture will offer a great alternative to the way homebuyers source their loan products – it’s one of the easiest online tools for prospective homebuyers seeking to source a home loan directly from a leading real estate portal such as Domain.com.au,” said Matt Siddons, marketing director, real estate for Fairfax Media.

“Consumers will no longer need to search elsewhere for the best home loans, as they can now simply click on the Get the Real Picture button when viewing their chosen property to have eChoice.com.au match them to a home loan option that will suit their needs.”

Get the Real Picture will launch on Domain.com.au with a competition to win $20,000 towards a home loan.
