A global real estate network has recognised the outstanding achievements of its Australian and New Zealand sales agents in its Top 100 rankings.

Forty-three individual RE/MAX agents from Australia and New Zealand were named in the RE/MAX International Top 100 Individuals for January to August 2013, with eight of them in the top 20.

More than half of the sales teams making the International Top 100 for January to August were from Australia and New Zealand, and 11 teams were in the top 20.

Ian Knight from RE/MAX Success in Toowoomba, Queensland topped the list of the best 100 individual agents worldwide, while the David Manby team from RE/MAX Regency in Robina on Queensland’s Gold Coast took the accolade for the top performing Australian and New Zealand sales team, coming in at number three internationally.

“Today RE/MAX is recognised as one of the leading real estate franchise companies with the most productive sales force in the industry and a global reach of 90 countries,” said Australian and New Zealand managing director, Michael Davoren. “As the real estate industry overcomes market challenges, RE/MAX continues as a leader in market share, agent productivity and international expansion.”

These awards represent an exceptional degree of customer service focus and marketing, communication and negotiation skills.

“I am proud to see so many of our people be ranked in RE/MAX’s Top 100, where they are competing for a ranking in a recognised sales force of more than 8,000,” he said.

In an interview with Real Estate Business published on rebonline.com.au in January this year, Mr Knight said his point of difference from his competitors was being an office open every day.

"We are the only office in Toowoomba that services sales and property management with the office open seven days a week (public holidays excluded)," he said.

"We provide the longest opening hours Monday to Friday, and an emergency 24/7 service."
