Aussie agents to break into Chinese market

Australian agents wishing to tap into the lucrative Chinese investor market will be able to forge partnerships at the first international agent-to-agent summit ever held in China.

Australian agents have been invited to attend the 2014 Juwai China Agent Summit in Shanghai to meet agents in China in order to form alliances.

Juwai claims the summit will lead to buyer referrals, increased sales and a better understanding of Chinese buyers.

However, according to co-CEO of Juwai.com Andrew Taylor, places are limited.

“There are only 40 spaces at our expo, so unfortunately we won’t be able to handle everyone who wants to be there," he said.

“We want to make sure those who do register in time learn a lot and have a chance to talk to Chinese agents who can be their allies on the ground.”

Attendees have the benefit of learning the ropes of the Chinese market and investing on the ground.

“The big benefits of this show are the chance to learn how to operate in the Chinese market, and to make alliances with Chinese agents who can send you buyer leads or follow up on Chinese buyer contacts for you,” Mr Taylor said.

“We’ve gone through our database of 20,000 Chinese agents and picked out the 100 or so who would be most valuable for Australian agents to meet."

The summit takes place just one day before the Shanghai Overseas Property & Investment Immigration Show, which is one of the largest and most important property expos in China for western agents hoping to reach Chinese buyers.
