Prominent international coaches and top local agents will gather on the Gold Coast to show agents how to grow their businesses.

The 18th Australasian Real Estate Conference will focus on personal branding, scaling up, listing, negotiation and technology.

The local speakers will include Michael Clarke from Clarke & Humel Property and Michael Coombs from McGrath Mosman, both of whom made the Top 100 Agents ranking in 2014.

Other local talent will include Cobden & Hayson founder Matthew Hayson, rising star Alex Waters from Crawford Realty, coaches Lee Woodward and Claudio Encina, and REA Group’s head of residential sales, Steve Carroll.

McGrath Estate Agents chief executive John McGrath, who founded AREC, said the conference would show agents how to grow their business exponentially.

“There is no need nowadays to take years to achieve enormous success. It can now be done in months from whenever you decide to get moving,” Mr McGrath said.

“I’m now seeing agents entering the real estate industry for the first time and building seven-figure businesses within 18 months.”

Danielle Molyneaux, general manager of event organiser Total Real Estate Training, said the presentations will deliver practical advice that can be implemented immediately.

“This year’s program is rich in content with an amazing line-up of speakers including the world’s top two real estate coaches in Tom Ferry and Brian Buffini, along with a number of successful agents from Australia and New Zealand,” she said.

“The speakers will provide in-depth case studies on what they are doing differently in their businesses around topics such as sales, marketing, social media and technology.”

AREC will be hosted by Tom Panos and will be held at the Gold Coast from 31 May to 1 June.
