Australia’s top real estate professionals were crowned last night at the 2018 REB Awards in Sydney.

In partnership with onthehouse.com.au, the event was attended by over 600 people who were gathered to recognise the nation’s leading real estate agents, property managers, auctioneers, innovators and market leaders.

Ray White was named Major Network of the Year for the third year running.

Perth-based agent Vivien Yap of Ray White Dalkeith – Claremont took home the award for Sales Agent of the Year – Metropolitan, while Belle Property Wollongong’s Jeremy Hodder was crowned Sales Agent of the Year – Regional for the second year running.

Max Ma from Savills in Sydney took home Property Manager of the Year – Metropolitan and Kaly Smith from KS Property Solutions in Albury won Property Manager of the Year – Regional.

Stuart Benson of Benson Auctions was named Auctioneer of the Year and Novak Properties took home the award for Innovator of the Year.

Catherine Baker of Belle Property (Killcare and Wamberal) won the Real Estate Business Excellence award.

REB editor Tim Neary said that there had been huge interest in the awards this year as it is one of the most sought-after awards for the industry.

“The interest in this year’s awards has been unprecedented, with the avalanche of submissions setting new records across all of the categories,” Mr Neary said.

Mr Neary added that the winners this year reflected the diversity in the industry.

“From national networks to individual agents, the 2018 REB Awards recognised excellence in real estate across the nation, and I’d like to congratulate all winners and finalists on their achievements,” Mr Neary said.

“The awards are an opportunity to see the best in our industry acknowledged in front of their peers and bring together our brightest to network, share stories and celebrate successes,” Mr Maire said.
