Neville Hurst is a lecturer in Property and Real Estate at Deakin University (Burwood Campus). He has been involved in the property industry for over 30 years from both a practical and educational perspective. He lectures in a wide range of property-related units and has received two teaching awards for in excellence in teaching by Deakin University. Neville is currently undertaking a PhD in sustainable housing and his key research areas include real estate agency practice, housing transaction markets and property education. Neville is an active member of the property industry and is a member of both the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) and the Australian Property Institute (API) and has served in numerous committee member roles.
