A new project marketing agency plans to capitalise on the substantial pipeline of new builds in Sydney’s northwest.

Called Plus Notable, the business is a partnership between Chatswood-headquartered project marketers Plus Agency and the northwest Sydney area experts Notable Property Group.

Having worked together on a number of transactions in the Hills District, the duo saw an opportune moment to combine experience in project marketing with northwest Sydney market expertise in creating a new entity to look after the interests of the area that is on the cusp of a massive influx of new building.

Franky Tjhin, principal of Notable Property Group and general manager of the new Plus Notable agency, explained that the idea for the business grew out of an identified gap the two saw in the market.

“The Hills District is booming with new development, but developers and buyers are underserved because there are no true project marketers in the area. Just the Showgrounds area alone will welcome a total of 9,500 new units in the next 20 years, according to the revised development caps,” Tjhin noted.

“The state is investing $133 million in new housing-related infrastructure nearby. There’s the new stop on the $20 billion Sydney Metro line, and there are beautiful parks for residents in the Chapman Avenue Reserve and the Cattai Creek Corridor,” he continued.

According to Plus Agency’s managing director Peter Li, he, alongside Plus Agency executive partner Fiona Yang and Tjhin, saw the need for a “one-stop solution for developers with projects in the area”.

They hope to contribute to the construction pipeline by helping developers sell their in-production assets to buyers, both domestic and international.

Yang, who has been nominated for REB’s Marketing Professional of the Year award in 2023 and 2024, added that the new firm will be able to make the connections that smooth the transaction process for buyers and developers.

“Buyers are in the Hills District, and developers are there, but they are not getting the same level of service as in the CBD. What local developers need is a project marketing agency that can provide complete, high-end services, and already has a proven record of success,” she said.

The new business has a shopfront in Castle Towers Shopping Centre, where it hopes to show off developers’ projects while capitalising on an area of high foot traffic.
