Three new managers have joined LJ Hooker in NSW and Queensland.

The brand’s NSW leadership team has seen two new people come aboard at management level.

Alexandra Sumovic has been named state manager for NSW and the ACT, after a six-year stint at Century 21. Prior to the move, Sumovic had occupied the position of network performance manager at LJ Hooker.

Speaking on her new position, Sumovic stated: “I’m excited to be returning to LJ Hooker, and I see real value in how the brand is supporting its offices under the leadership of Christine Mikhael and Steve Mutton.”

“Their vision is closely aligned to mine, providing businesses with the tools and support to maximise productivity and profitability,” she said.

Also joining LJ Hooker in NSW is Darren Richards, the brand’s new network performance manager. According to the network, Richards has had an extensive real estate career, including 15 years of experience leading a successful Sydney-based agency.

Up in Queensland, Katrina Wise has been appointed as network performance manager for the state, having previously worked for LJ Hooker in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.

Stephen Mutton, LJ Hooker’s general manager of network, stated that the three new additions would help further boost the brand’s support for local-level business owners “at a time when market sentiment is lifting”.

“Together, Alexandra, Darren and Katrina bring many decades of experience to our service offerings,” said Mutton.

“They recognise our innovative franchise offering and how it can elevate performance through industry-leading technology and marketing solutions, proven training and a collaborative culture.”

It has been a busy year for LJ Hooker, who welcomed their new head of network for New Zealand in January in order to further strengthen their offerings on the other side of the Tasman.

Last year, LJ Hooker also appointed Tom Donnelly as head of commercial, following a two-decade-long career in pivotal roles with the brand.
