This award recognises the individual within the Australian real estate market that has shown a long-term passion and aptitude for improving the industry.

NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR

This award acknowledges the agent who excels on both fronts — the process of assessing buyers’ needs, identifying, negotiating and securing properties, matched with the communication and interpersonal skills that improve the client experience. It also considers the business skills associated with building an effective business, including the ability to win new clients, generate referrals and secure repeat business.

PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR – METROPOLITAN

This award recognises the principal who has built the most successful real estate office or group of interconnected offices. This office/s will generate outstanding sales results backed with a solid rent roll; it will also be a company that attracts top talent matched with a winning culture.

PROPERTY MANAGER OF THE YEAR – METROPOLITAN

This award acknowledges the property manager (individual) who has built and retained strong client relationships (and revenue) while generating new business through effective prospecting and marketing.

RISING STAR

This award recognises the individual within the Australian real estate market that best represents the future of the industry.

SALES AGENT OF THE YEAR – REGIONAL

This award acknowledges the residential sales agent who drives excellent sales volumes and maintains best practice service at all times by utilising the various tools and resources at hand, while developing new and innovative business strategies to ensure future growth and development.

BDM OF THE YEAR – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

This award recognises the BDM who powers the growth and development of a property management business through effective selling, mentorship and management.

COACH OF THE YEAR

This award recognises the individual within the Australian real estate market who has shown commitment to training and developing new agents starting out in their real estate career.

INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR – INDIVIDUAL

This award recognises the individual within the Australian real estate market who has most effectively developed and capitalised on innovation — whether it’s related to service, business development or franchising processes, technology, staff/client management or any other relevant area.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR

This is an individual award that is open to any office administrator working within a real estate office and is based on the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.

SUPPORTING PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

This award is open to any individual who does not operate directly in sales or property management. All back-office support staff are encouraged to apply, including finance operations like accounting, accounts payable, receivable, administration, IT operations, data processing and operations, human resources operations, support, legal, regulation, compliance, and any other back-office operations roles.

WOMEN’S COMMUNITY PROGRAM OF THE YEAR

This award recognises the group and/or independent network that demonstrated the most beneficial social and community engagement program focused on women during the 2019–20 financial year.

This award recognises the boutique network that demonstrated the best balance of gender diversity and commitment to the progression of women within the company.

DIVERSITY OFFICE OF THE YEAR – METROPOLITAN

This award recognises the metropolitan residential office that demonstrated the best balance of gender diversity and commitment to the progression of women within the company.

WELLNESS INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR

This award recognises any real estate office — franchised, company-owned or independent — that has actively advocated for health and wellness initiatives, events and/or activities among their peers and the community at large.
