JLL bolsters ACT team with head of valuations role

The global property services firm has revealed a brand-new addition to its Canberra valuation advisory team.

Tim Heaton, a former employee of CBRE, will join JLL’s valuation advisory team in the nation’s capital, taking up the newly established role of head of corporate and institutional valuations (Canberra). 

Mr Heaton will add more than a decade of industry and valuation experience to the team, having spent his time at CBRE focusing primarily on banking, private, government and institutional clientele in Canberra and the surrounding regions.

Tim Mutton, JLL managing director in the ACT, expressed the firm’s delight in its new appointment, stating that Mr Heaton brings the breadth of his knowledge and expertise to the team, as well as the invaluable relationships he has formed through his career.

“We are excited to have Tim Heaton join our valuation advisory team in Canberra. Tim is highly regarded in the local market and his deep and long-standing relationships with banks, local and foreign institutions, developers, and government will be extremely valuable to JLL’s clients,” he said.

“He is a great addition to our team, and I look forward to working with him to help our clients achieve their ambitions.”

John Talbot, JLL head of valuation advisory in the Asia-Pacific region, shared these sentiments.

“With over 10 years of experience across all major property asset classes, Tim is uniquely placed to leverage his experience to increase our advisory service offerings in Canberra.

“He adds another dimension to the growth of our business with exceptional industry knowledge, reputation, and client relationships. We are pleased to further enhance our capabilities for our clients with him as part of our team,” Mr Talbot said.

According to the statement announcing Mr Heaton’s appointment, he will work alongside Ian Robertson and the current leadership team to assist in JLL’s business growth in Canberra.
