A senior addition to the Savills team will bolster the firm’s capital transactions capabilities in Australia and New Zealand.
Tyler Talbot has been named director of capital transactions, joining the firm’s Sydney outpost early in 2024.
Bringing close to two decades of experience in Australian real estate to the firm, Mr Talbot specialises in office sales for clients ranging from institutions to syndicates and individuals. He’s reportedly been behind some of the biggest office deals on Sydney’s north shore, having previously served as head of sales at Knight Frank’s office in the area.
His role at Savills will see him focus on institutional clients and their needs across the Sydney CBD, North Sydney and the wider metropolitan markets.
Paul Craig, CEO of Savills Australia and New Zealand, welcomed Mr Talbot to the team, stating his confidence that Mr Talbot’s “extensive experience and strong network of contacts will serve to build on the strength of our existing capital transactions team, providing a dedicated focus on Sydney CBD and Sydney’s north to service an increased demand for assets in both CBDs”.
Ben Azar, NSW state director of capital transactions at Savills Australia and New Zealand, added: “As a highly regarded operator in the industry, coupled with a wealth of knowledge of the major markets, Tyler will be a valuable addition to the team as he brings even greater value and skill to our client offering.”
