A pair of experienced commercial agents have joined the brand’s Asian Investment Services arm.

Danny Shi and Tao Shi are the latest agents to join Ray White Commercial Western Sydney, having previously worked at CBRE.

In the past, the pair have played a significant role in the development of the northern Sydney hubs of Lane Cove, Chatswood, Macquarie Park, Epping, and Ku-ring-gai council area, transacting over $1.2 billion worth of assets.

Now, Danny and Tao Shi are setting their sights on the city’s west as part of RWC Western Sydney’s Asian Investment Services (AIS) team.

The division was founded three years ago, and managing director Peter Vines reported that it has “seen impressive growth since”.

“The initiative was created to provide a fully integrated commercial property advisory for Sydney’s Asian investors and developers,” Vines explained.

It aims to offer a commercial property advisory service that spans the full lifecycle of investment, from sales to leasing to asset management.

According to Danny and Tao Shi, the distinctive services offered by AIS were one of the factors that contributed to their decision to join RWC Western Sydney.

“The unique offering of AIS is something that drew us to the role where we look to work closely with the team to build the best AIS team in Sydney,” Danny and Tao Shi said.

“Separately to this, with the NSW government’s Transport Oriented Development (TOD) Program, we’re looking forward to using our expertise in the development landscape to further provide our clients with opportunities to leverage sites to further strengthen their portfolios,” they said.

As well as working with clients on the TOD Program, Danny and Tao Shi plan to “provide their expertise to assist our clients on acquiring diverse sites for their portfolio,” and provide their clients with a “seamless movement between Australia and Asia”.

“We’re looking forward to working with the experienced team in the AIS division,” Danny and Tao Shi concluded.

Their appointment comes six months after Owen White came on board RWC Western Sydney as an industrial sales specialist, marking the firm’s first foray into industrial real estate.

At the time, White noted that he would predominantly focus on warehouses along the M4 corridor, including the suburbs of Penrith, St Marys, Mt Druitt and Blacktown.
