Belle Property has established a commercial footprint in Western Australia, adding a new location in the city of Perth.
The network reported that the new location will be headed by principal Brent Griffiths, who will
utilise his diverse real estate experience and specialised commercial sales and leasing approach to lead the new office.
With the new office supported by the national Belle Property and local Acton brands, Belle Property stated that the new agency would offer a “broader approach to commercial real estate” inclusive of the office, retail, medical, industrial and consulting sectors.
Through his work with a range of notable clients over the past eight years, Griffiths was described as bringing a “vast network of industry contacts” which would enable the new office to introduce a “fresh outlook” to the saturated Perth commercial market.
Griffiths, a professional soccer player for over a decade, will reportedly bring his experience as a sporting professional into this new venture, particularly in finding like-minded personnel with “passion and resilience”, who can work as a team to excel in real estate.
Joining Griffiths at the new office are team members Tom Jacob and Arlo Walker, whose “fresh perspectives on real estate” were highlighted by the brand as setting the agency further apart from its competitors.
With Jacob having been born in the UK, the network expressed that his unique “British hustle and bustle” would revitalise the “sleepy” western city and help the new agency to break into Perth’s rapidly growing commercial market.
Gained through his time working at a large international agency, Walker’s vast network and global knowledge were identified by the network as strengths that would reinforce the new team’s prospects within the Perth commercial market.
Speaking on the motivations behind the agency’s opening, Griffiths expressed that he “sees the opportunity for Perth as a market leader following the pandemic and drive in resources”.
“Western Australia’s overall commercial outlook hasn’t been this positive in over a decade, with a government infrastructure pipeline valued at a staggering $30 billion,” Griffiths said.
“I’d like to think of Perth as being a ‘sleeping giant’, with its unparalleled beaches, booming resources and strong residential vacancy rates, meaning that now is the best time to invest, be it as an investor, owner, or business before it’s too late.”
Commenting on the expansion, Travis Coleman, head of Belle Property Western Australia, shared: “We are thrilled to expand our Belle Property Commercial operation to Perth, really rounding out our national presence in Western Australia.”
“We believe that Brent’s extensive market experience and dynamic team, coupled with Belle Property Commercial’s contemporary approach, will bring a fresh and unparalleled level of service to the local market,” said Coleman.
“This expansion allows us to service clients all throughout the country in an integrated, highly collaborative manner,” he concluded.
