The appointee will bring over a decade of property valuations experience spanning both Australia and the UK.

Edward Hine has been appointed in the position of director of commercial, NSW, at M3 Property, and will look to focus on the office market sector in his new role.

The director brings over 14 years’ experience providing commercial and residential valuation advice in the real estate sector, in which he worked in several senior positions at firms across Australia and the UK.

Hine previously held valuations and surveyor roles at UK property consultancy firm Sanderson Weatherall and The CSG Group, most recently serving as director of operational capital markets at Savills’ Sydney office and focusing on valuations in living sectors.

M3 Property highlighted Hine’s extensive managerial experience demonstrated in his previous role as regional director and head of Leeds and North East valuation at Eddisons, where he led a team of surveyors and guided both revenue growth and service expansion.

Hine also holds a diverse array of qualifications, being a chartered surveyor, Australian Property Institute (API) certified practising valuer, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) registered valuer and MRICS chartered surveyor.

M3 Property CEO, Andrew Duguid, described the new director’s combination of international and local valuations experience as an “asset to our people and clients”, and said “we are fortunate to welcome Edward Hine as a director in our growing NSW team”.

“Edward’s deep experience in a range of complex and demanding roles will put us in good stead to strengthen the team and continue to provide exceptional valuations services across the NSW commercial sector,” Duguid concluded.

This addition follows the recent appointment of Patrick Curran as M3 Property’s new director of industrial, Victoria.
