Commercial network Knight Frank has bolstered its valuation and advisory capability in South-East Queensland by bringing commercial and residential services under an expanded team.
The expanded team will be led by partner, head of valuation and advisory – Queensland, Matthew Ryan, who brings more than 20 years of experience to the role.
Knight Frank said the expanded team will leverage its experience across the state to provide valuation and advisory services across residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and specialised property sectors.
Ryan said combining expertise in commercial and residential sectors would give clients broader market insights and stronger service capabilities.
He said the expansion marked the beginning of a new chapter for the valuations business in South-East Queensland.
"We have built a strong residential valuations platform across the region and are now expanding our capability to include commercial valuation and advisory services under the one team,” Ryan said.
"The result is a broader, more integrated offering that combines expertise across commercial, industrial, retail, residential, and specialised property assets.”
Ryan said the expanded valuation capacity came at a time when South-East Queensland continued to draw strong investor interest, driven by population growth and infrastructure spending.
Knight Frank managing director – Queensland Justin Bond said the expanded team reflected the firm's commitment to supporting clients in Australia’s rapidly growing commercial market.
"South-East Queensland continues to demonstrate exceptionally strong fundamentals and remains a key growth market for property investment and development," he said.
"With significant infrastructure investment, continued population growth and the lead-up to the 2032 Olympic Games, Queensland is exceptionally well placed for long-term growth, and our expanded valuations team is ready to support clients as they capitalise on these opportunities."
