One of Australia’s top networks is planning an auction extravaganza evening, with a contribution from each property sold going towards finding a cure for cancer.

Century 21 offices in Sydney’s eastern suburbs will be holding a super auction night on 8 November at Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club, with a donation from all properties sold on the night to be contributed to the Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon campaign.

The Maroubra, Bondi Junction, Randwick and Rose Bay offices are joining forces to auction seven properties in one night.

Chairman and owner of Century 21 Australasia Charles Tarbey said that the event promises auction excitement on an “incredible” scale.

“The eastern suburbs real estate market has long been one of Sydney’s most attractive and there will be a great selection of property up for auction that will suit a range of home owners and investors,” the chairman said.

“We are expecting some very competitive bidding, with auction clearance rates still very solid in Sydney.”

A donation of at least $500 will be made from each sale, with all money raised going towards raising awareness, research, prevention and support for breast and gynecological cancers.

For four years running, the Century 21 network has turned pink during October in support of Pink Ribbon and, over this time, have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the charity. Throughout the month, agents wear limited-edition pink Century 21 jackets complemented with pink accessories such as scarves and ties.

The properties will be auctioned by Matthew Shalhoub from Sydney auction company Under The Hammer.
