Former RE/MAX agents have decided to go out on their own and set up an independent family-run agency in Graceville.

Backed by a combined 50 years of experience in the industry, Martin and his wife Louise said their agency will not be run by traditional growth targets.

Instead, the agency will focus on building relationships with the community which it sees as a way of achieving greater long-term success.

“Everyone is unique and motivated differently,” said the co-owner and principal of Hood Estate Agents, Martin Hood.

“Knowledge and experience are the foundation of any successful business, but it is capturing your individuality and your approach to building relationships that sets you apart from everyone else. That cannot be copied.

“At Hood Estate Agents, we are here to listen, share knowledge and advise so we can help people achieve their real estate goals.”

Mr Hood believes it is important that agents surround themselves with the right team to ensure they can offer this service to the client.

“We are also grateful to have a diverse team of sales partners, property managers and in-house design professionals who can draw from their experiences in real estate, banking, business, architecture and advertising to ensure we can offer people well-rounded property solutions.

“Evolving beyond franchising has given us the flexibility to be more creative and grow our business in line with our values. We are so proud that the final result is an extension of our personalities.”
