Independent real estate group BresicWhitney has hired an experienced sales leader and top auctioneer as it looks to bolster its growth strategy.
Thomas McGlynn joins BresicWhitney from The Agency, where he held the title of national head of sales and chief auctioneer. Throughout his career, Mr McGlynn has also worked for McGrath as a sales leader.
Co-founder of BresicWhitney Shannan Whitney said the move comes as the team continues to deliver on a staged growth strategy.
“Coming out of the property market downturn of 2017–2019, we made a decision to reshape our operating model to better enable our business to respond to economic shifts. With this now in place, the appointment of a new sales leader and auctioneer is part of the second phase of our strategy,” Mr Whitney said.
“We understand that the environment at BresicWhitney is unique in its ability to support agents in building successful careers. The appointment of Thomas McGlynn is designed to further strengthen a core capability within our business and enable us to continue scaling across key Sydney regions.

Commenting on his new role, Mr McGlynn said the move to BresicWhitney marks a welcomed, new phase in his career.
