Harcourts Coastal has announced it is expanding its leadership team with the promotion of Rob Forde to sales director.
Mr Forde will head up three of Harcourts’ top agencies, with the Broadbeach office awarded top office for Harcourts Australia, its Paradise Point office second, and the Robina office awarded eighth best office in Queensland.
Mr Forde is excited about the opportunity, saying: “After gaining exposure to a broad range of leading real estate businesses around the globe, I am excited to apply my knowledge and experience on a local level to have a targeted impact.”
Dane and Kym Atherton, who own the three offices and are directors of Harcourts Coastal, noted they have been waiting for the right person to join the leadership team.
They stated the business has been built a values-based business that has stayed true to its promise of creating a world-class environment for their team, allowing them to reach their full potential.
“Rob draws from an exceptional real estate skill set which he has honed over many years in his high-profile corporate leadership roles. He has a genuine hunger to help people grow and the skills to back it up, which is exactly the characteristic we were looking for in the sales director role at Harcourts Coastal,” Mr Atherton explained.
Mr Forde said the success of any organisation is built around the success of its people.
“Dane and Kym have created a first-class team at Harcourts Coastal. The business has a real energy about it, with a strong high-performance culture. As the sales director, my objective is to add value to the agents in the business through coaching, mentoring, business planning and auctioneering,” Mr Forde concluded.
