Stone Real Estate has continued its expansion into the south Sydney market with the opening of a new Rockdale office.
Co-principals George Kambouroglou and Sam Abbas will be heading up the new agency, which aims to service an expanded market area.
The industry veterans indicated that under the new brand, they can now operate in four times as many suburbs and more than double their team of agents.
“Growth is our primary objective,” Mr Kambouroglou has said.
“Now for us, the sky’s the limit,” added Mr Abbas, who cited the “dramatic success” of other businesses that had joined Stone Real Estate as a major influencer of the pair.
“We wanted to adopt similar strategies to those businesses that we could see had changed so dramatically after they became Stone.”
Having worked in the area for more than 20 years, Mr Kambouroglou and Mr Abbas are agents who are “both highly respected and with impeccable track records for excellent service and attention to detail”, according to a statement from Stone.
Commenting on their move across, Mr Kambouroglou said: “After being in the business for so many years, this is a breath of fresh air.”
Mr Abbas added: “The management team has a genuine desire to see us succeed.
“At many traditional brands, you’re only a number to them.
“Here at Stone, your business is supported and part of a network due to the nature of the business model.”
From Mr Kambouroglou’s perspective, “it’s clearly one of the primary reasons Stone is thriving and growing at such a rate, even during this pandemic”.
The new office is Stone’s 37th office to open in a major region in less than two years, since the brand first evolved from a company-owned model to a franchise model back in 2018.
