RE/MAX Australia has reiterated its focus on driving the network through the southern Queensland and northern New South Wales regions with the appointment of a new business growth manager.

Katie Cotton has taken on the role, having previously been a national manager with easyBondpay and easyAdpay. She brings a background in social science and is an experienced trainer and conference speaker.

“With easyBondpay being a well-known product supplier to the real estate sector, and a RE/MAX partner, I have already established relationships with many of the RE/MAX business owners,” Ms Cotton said.

“Now I will be assisting them with growth and profitability within their business.”

Ms Cotton’s new role will be primarily focused on bringing on new franchise opportunities to RE/MAX Australia.

“I will identify those professionals, from within the real estate field and outside it, who will prosper in a culture that gives them flexibility to operate their businesses with great independence while getting extensive resources, training and support to satisfy ambitions and achieve goals.

“RE/MAX nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit.”

RE/MAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren welcomed Ms Cotton to the network, describing her appointment as “strategically important”.

The past few months have been challenging and we have been living through something our generation has never before experienced,” Mr Davoren said.

“While the real estate landscape has changed, we have and need to continue to evolve and change with it. RE/MAX has been at the forefront of observing, accessing and redefining what makes a great agent and a successful business.

“By focusing on key priorities and having the right people on the team that supports our network, we create the platform to put ourselves and our clients in the best position.”
