A Sunshine Coast agency is under new ownership, with one of the region’s top talents taking on the role of business owner at RE/MAX Property Sales.

RE/MAX Property Sales was first opened by Steve and Nicola Perry back in 2010, and is now under the helm of Tristan Brown.

The new business owner said he is “fortunate to be given the opportunity to purchase a high-performing established agency in Nambour”.

“I was a high-performing agent managing a team and Steve was selling a successful real estate business with an experienced team,” Mr Brown said.

“The time was right. It was a logical step to invest in an existing business as an owner.”

He also expressed that he is equally fortunate to have Mr Perry remain on the team as a lead agent and assisting with future recruitment.

Previously the number one agent for Amber Werchon Property, Mr Brown said he’s “ready for this step into agency ownership”.

“My years with AWP have honed my real estate skills and I’m personally indebted to Amber for his leadership and mentoring,” he commented.

Now, working under the banner of the Nambour-based agency will see Mr Brown able to offer property services across Nambour, Woombye, Palmwoods, Rosemount, Yandina and other neighbouring areas.

It’s a market Mr Brown considers to be “yet untapped”.

“This town and its surrounds have tremendous opportunities for property owners, investors and residents,” he said.

“And real estate customers here deserve the same exceptional level of service anywhere on the Coast, and regardless of the property’s price tag.”

RE/MAX Property Sales will also be relaunching its property management division, with Jody Chatillon in the role of business development manager.

Weighing in on the new ownership, RE/MAX Australia’s managing director, Joel Davoren, said “it is exciting to have Tristan taking on the very strong platform that Steve developed and injecting fresh, dynamic leadership”.

He stated: “Real estate customers, the real estate team, and our RE/MAX network are all beneficiaries.”
