Two Raine & Horne offerings have revealed they will be joining as one.

Raine & Horne Concord and Raine & Horne Strathfield are set to become Raine & Horne Concord/Strathfield, in a bid by principal Paul Pettenon to launch an enhanced operation in the area.

Mr Pettenon has been operating in the region with his family since 1989.

“Strathfield and Concord are separated by just the Parramatta Road, and so merging the two offices is a natural progression in the expansion of our business,” Mr Pettenon said.

With the merger in place, the principal and his team will be responsible for a larger sales footprint as well as a rent roll that’s almost 50 per cent bigger.

As well as boosting the property management team, two new sales agents, Mark Porcellato and James Kim, have also joined the team.

The merger comes as the principal expects a significant rebound across Sydney’s inner west real estate markets once the capital city begins to emerge from lockdowns.

To better service their clients aiming to capitalise on this rebound, the principal said they will leverage on the “massive development” in Strathfield over the next five to 10 years, including the suburb’s “iconic” railway station.

“The heart of Strathfield along with the train station is going to be developed in a similar way to the massive makeover given to Chatswood in recent years that offers a substantial blend of residential, commercial and retail spaces,” Mr Pettenon highlighted.

As well as leveraging new opportunities, the principal has confirmed a commitment to continuing the sponsorship of local community groups, including West Tigers and Inter Lions FC, as well as furthering agency relationships with Meals on Wheels and local school programs.

“The merger of the two offices means we have a wider community footprint, and we do whatever we can to support the community who support us, especially in these challenging times,” the principal said.

Raine & Horne NSW network manager Zac Theobald has expressed his support for Mr Pettenon and his agency, stating: “Paul’s leadership style ensures the growth and success of his team, and this merger creates incredible opportunities for our real estate professionals to work together as their market share increases significantly.

“It will be exciting working with Paul and the team at Raine & Horne Concord/Strathfield as they expand our firm’s footprint in this exciting real estate market.”
