With two decades of experience under his belt, Chris Roy will be joining the network’s executive team in the Sunshine State.

With the 2021 calendar year drawing to a close, Stone Real Estate is still forging ahead, announcing the appointment of Chris Roy as head of franchise growth for Queensland.

The latest hire comes as the franchise group gears up its pursual of further franchising opportunities and looks to expand its presence across the state.

The network has recognised Mr Roy’s work across the breadth of the real estate industry, having begun his career in data entry before moving through the real estate office and into management.

“After over 20 years in real estate during which I’ve done almost every possible role, I was ready for a new challenge,” the head of franchise growth said of his new role.

“When I finally leave this industry, many years in the future, I want to leave it better than I found it and I am confident I can work towards that goal with Stone.

“My love and belief in the culture and ethos of the Stone brand is the driver behind my quest to bring in more individuals and offices and help them grow.”

According to the new head of franchise growth, “Stone Real Estate has an amazing opportunity to offer Queensland in a boutique and extremely hands-on partnership for business owners who are focused on growing their business.

“I am simply thrilled to have joined the corporate team at Stone. The opportunity to represent and offer potential partners this amazing business is incredibly exciting.

“I look forward to having a huge surge in our brand representation and performance in 2022.

The sentiment is shared by Stone’s head of franchise, Luke Cameron, who believes the addition of Mr Roy to the Queensland corporate team “will pave the way for even more growth in the region”.

“We’re delighted to welcome Chris to the corporate team and we can’t wait to see the good work he does in Queensland,” he said.

“Chris’ addition to the team is going to help us continue what’s already been a very exciting growth trajectory for the Stone brand and we’re ready for more expansion.

“2021 has been a fantastic year for real estate and we’re all looking forward to 2022 to see what new goals can be achieved.”
