The network is wasting no time expanding its presence in Victoria with the launch of a new outfit in Melbourne’s northern suburbs at the start of 2023.

LJ Hooker Mill Park, headed by Geetansh Mahna and Thamer Kada, has recently opened its doors at The Stables Shopping Centre

While the office is arguably the new kid on the area’s block, the network highlighted that the outfit saw a busy start — with a dozen new listings signed up with the Mill Park team shortly after opening its doors.

Mr Mahna, who holds the role of both principal and director, is joining LJ Hooker from Ray White and brings with him extensive knowledge of the Mill Park area gained over the last five years.

“We are familiar faces in the northern suburbs — we know all the ins and out of the area — and almost all of our business comes from word-of-mouth and referrals,” Mr Mahna said.

Mr Kada, who is also a principal in the newly launched outfit, also touts a strong resume, having been in the real estate industry for over a decade and is a licensed builder, supplier and property developer.

In addition to providing sales and property management services, they revealed that they want to utilise their shared background in property development to “create a point of difference” in the market.

LJ Hooker general manager of network Stephen Mutton congratulated Mr Mahna and Mr Kada on opening the new office at Mill Park.

“Both well-connected agents in Melbourne’s north, and we have very excited to have them join the LJ Hooker, particularly given their background in development,” he commented.

The LJ Hooker executive noted that the Victoria market is a solid performer and is one of the network’s high-focus areas due to its strong opportunities for growth.

Over the past four years, Mr Mutton highlighted that the Mill Park area has recorded strong growth and continues to be popular with first-time buyers, upgraders, and downsizers.

Currently, the median price for a four-bedroom home in the Mill Park region ranges from $650,000 to $850,000.

New updates to the infrastructure landscape in the area, including Plenty Road upgrade, Childs Road upgrade, and the Westfields Shopping Centre, are also seen to stir up demand.
