A new office in Melbourne’s inner city will be run by a pair with extensive knowledge in the area.
Poonam Bhansali and Rahim Zulfiqar have opened Century 21 City Dock, in Melbourne’s Docklands neighbourhood, linking up with the international brand because of the support they felt it would offer as they transition into this new phase of their careers.
Ms Bhansali successfully managed a facilities management business for the past seven years, and possesses a specific expertise in overseeing high-rise apartments. The firm noted that having carried out this work in Docklands for close to a decade, Ms Bhansali has “an unparalleled understanding of the community and the area it encompasses”.
Mr Zulfiqar, meanwhile, has eight years of experience as an operations manager in the facility management industry. With a keen eye for detail, he has worked closely with numerous building managers and owner-corporation managers, becoming intimately acquainted with the city and Docklands area.
The duo feels their business backgrounds complement each other, with Ms Bhansali’s “commitment to providing exceptional service and her comprehensive knowledge of the local community” a perfect match for Mr Zulifqar’s “expertise in customer service and effective communication”.
They cited Century 21’s “commitment to providing guidance and support to its franchisees” as a pivotal factor in choosing to link up with the network.
Century 21 CEO James Bell said he was thrilled about the opening of C21 City Dock and expressed his firm belief in their business prospects.

The brand recently welcomed a new office in Sydney’s west, with experienced operator Darren Kersten adding his St Mary’s team to the fold.
