In its latest expansion, the Sydney-based group is heading for the Hills.
The Hills office is set to complement Richard Matthews Real Estate’s presence across Strathfield, Summer Hill and Georges Hall, and coincides with the 13th birthday of the agency co-founded by directors Richard Baini and Matthew Everingham.
Baini, who also operates as the business’s auctioneer, said the group is “excited to bring the Richard Matthews sophisticated brand, drive, energy, professionalism and tenacity to the Hills District real estate market and beautiful local community”.
Stating that the area is already home to many of the agency’s clients and team members, he said: “Richard Matthews Real Estate has always been about growing people and the business.
“We are extremely proud to be taking this next step.”
Joining them on the new venture is Vivek Tailor, who will work alongside Baini and Everingham following his elevation to a director role. Between the trio, there is more than 60 years of industry experience.
Sharing that he has always admired Baini and Everingham as leaders, he commented that “their vision for the brand and for our team has always inspired me”.
Last year, Tailor was recognised as the number nine ranked agent across Australia in the REB Top 100 Agents ranking.
From his perspective, the business’s continued dedication on growing people is an exciting one. “The internal focus has always been about building a group of strong and successful people, which are rare qualities to find in our industry at a company level.”
“When I joined the team, we were not widely known. Within five years, we had four agents listed in the REB Top 100 with a brand recognised across Sydney and Australia.”
Looking ahead, he expressed: “I am excited for this new phase of Richard Matthews Real Estate.”
Weighing in on the decision to head to the Hills, Everingham acknowledged that “there are undoubtably many talented agents in the Hills District”, but stated there are many aspects of their business that will set them apart.
“Richard Matthews is underpinned by the belief that every client is a client for life. This is no small feat and we work hard to ensure every touch point with our clients is simple, enjoyable and seamless,” he shared.
“We are looking forward to taking Richard Matthews Real Estate to another level in 2024 and helping our entire team fulfil their potential,” the director concluded.
