Renters in London may have hit the jackpot with a unit advertised for $800 a month – the only fine print is where the ‘bedroom’ is situated.

Flat-sharing is a common occurrence in any rental market, but this Kingston Upon Thames unit is pushing it a bit further than most.

According to the Mirror, an ad on spareroom.co.uk is showing off a prime example of the rental market in the UK capital, with a single bed up for rent in a kitchen.

Joe, as he is named, advertised, "single bed to rent in kitchen/lounge area. All bills included”.

"PLEASE notice it is not a room. Is a single bed in shared kitchen, you can use your own entrance from the garden, if you wish."

Kitchen living will cost the lucky tenant only $787 per calendar month – but don't forget, that is including all bills.

Although the home is furnished, there are two other flatmates, who it can be assumed will be cooking in what is essentially a bedroom.

The rental also includes parking, broadband and a garden/terrace.
