A gardener threatened his neighbours with a chainsaw after they put up a fence between the two houses.

Christian Hager flew into a rage and cut down one of the fence posts with his chainsaw before chasing his neighbours, according to The Telegraph.

Mr Hager was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, by Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, and was ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.

Since the incident, Mr Hager’s neighbours have installed CCTV at their property in order to protect themselves and their children.
