A decorated Sydney agent has joined Stone Real Estate’s newest office in the city’s lucrative North Shore.

Keith Newberry has joined Stone Real Estate Forest/Belrose office, which officially opened a week ago.

Mr Newberry currently holds one of Forestville’s highest-priced residential sales at $2.68 million. He was awarded Agent of the Year for Davidson in 2017. He has also achieved sale records for Belrose at $2.65 million and Frenchs Forest at $2.35 million. He has also sold more than 300 properties in the Forest and Northern Beaches area.

Mr Newberry said that the move represented an “unmissable” opportunity for several reasons.

“Stone Forest/Belrose presented such a strong team of people within this franchise who want to work together,” the agent said.

“Another big plus is our location in the new Glenrose Shopping Village, which has thousands of shoppers coursing through it every day and many people whom we all know. We’re getting a lot of walk-ins and people calling in.”

Mr Newberry said that the Stone brand is attracting a lot of local traction.

“‘What’s more, I’ve been talking to a lot of people around here and Stone already has such a good reputation in this area in such a short space of time. People are loving this brand.

“I’ve lived in the beaches area for most of my life and know this area probably better than anyone, and I’m really looking forward to using all my experience and knowledge at Stone.”

Mr Newberry joins Ian Clarke at Stone’s Forest/Belrose office, along with local agent David Hayden and Maureen Malouf, who has worked the area for more than two decades.

The Forest region is one of Sydney’s most active for infrastructure projects, with the new Northern Beaches hospital nearing completion along with the associated major road upgrade in full swing.
