Stone Real Estate has opened an office in one of Sydney’s fast-rising areas, on the back of some major infrastructure projects earmarked for development there.
Stone has opened an office in Camden, to be led by Peter Salisbury, one of Camden’s longest-established agents.
Mr Salisbury, who has lived in the area for most of his life, said that Stone’s progressive vision is a perfect fit for Sydney’s growing south-western region property market.
He said that the region’s future is “remarkably bright”, thanks to the major infrastructure announced for the area such as the A9 Orbital, the Badgery’s Creek Airport and the extension of the South West Rail Link to Narellan.
“Stone actually has a vision for where the brand is going, which is what we need here now and one of the things I found most attractive,” Mr Salisbury said.
“The other big attraction for us was that the agency model allows us an opportunity to grow, which is particularly advantageous in an area like this.
“The look and feel of the Stone brand is very much in line with the way we operate and market our properties. It is also a brand that is very relevant at street level and that is relatable to this area.”
Mr Salisbury said that Stone’s contemporary brand offering resonated with him and his team.
“What I love about Stone is the out-of-the-box thinking which is helping us at branch level,” Mr Salisbury said.
“They’re investing a lot at head office level into what we need at ground level, and it means we have the kind of help in areas like training and marketing that we’ve never had before. I’m very impressed with the assistance and attention we are given by [the] head office.”
Mr Salisbury added that he has a solid network of clients and contacts.
“We are very customer-driven and concentrate on helping a client get from A to B, and that is in line with Stone’s philosophy as well,” Mr Salisbury said.
Stone Real Estate’s franchising director, Luke Cameron, welcomed Mr Salisbury.
He said that Mr Salisbury’s knowledge, gleaned from almost two decades working in the region’s property market, meant that he was “far and away” the best candidate to lead the new office.
“Camden is a true go-ahead region of Sydney and Mr Salisbury’s experience and reputation in the area could not be better suited to Stone’s aims and vision for its new office here,” Mr Cameron said.
Stone Real Estate Camden will cover the Camden local government area including Narellan, Oran Park and Mt Annan.
