A rising boutique network has opened in one of regional NSW’s fastest-growing areas as it looks to extend its footprint in key growing markets.

Stone Real Estate has opened an office in Albury-Wodonga, one of NSW’s fastest-growing regions, to be led by well-known local agents Craig and Kelly Huckel.

Mr Huckle said the pair initially intended to become an independent agency, before the Stone brand caught their attention.

“When we saw the way in which Stone carried out its marketing plus all the technology and strategy that goes along with presenting properties, we couldn’t go past this,” he said.

“We were looking to be independent but could see immediately that the way they presented themselves as well as their properties was next level.

“It’s a very city-looking brand, and we’re very excited to deliver this type of marketing into Albury-Wodonga.”

Mr Huckel entered real estate in 2012 following a career as a paramedic.

He said that Stone’s one-client database is “perfect” for servicing both regular clients and investors.

“Albury is the 10th most populated regional city in NSW, popular with investors due to favourable market conditions aided by its consistently strong economy and population growth.

“Stone Real Estate’s system allows us to be part of a boutique franchise group and service those city investors as well.”

He said that Stone’s level of professionalism would help them to take the new office to its fullest potential.

“We love doing things differently and in a smarter and more efficient way than the norm,” Mr Huckle said.

“With Stone group backing, support, training and technology, we are now doing exactly that.”

Mrs Huckel will manage the office.

She said the reaction to the office opening has been encouraging.

Stone franchise director Luke Cameron said the Huckels are ideal candidates to introduce Stone to Albury-Wodonga’s “healthy” real estate market.

“They’re both excellent leaders and business people as proven by their track records in both real estate and their past careers,” Mr Cameron said.

“We couldn’t be happier they’ve chosen to join Stone.”
