Growth is on the agenda for Laing+Simmons Kings Langley | Kings Park, with two of its executives stepping up to take the reins.

In a move that puts the office under new ownership and direction, sales executives Garry Cooper and Greg Cameron are now the business’s new owners.

The business has also just relocated to a new Bella Vista office on the outskirts of Sydney.

Mr Cooper said he looks forward to leading the business at a time of “fresh optimism” in the local market, and that the Kings Langley and Kings Park areas are poised for “significant upside” as the market cycle plays out.

“The market has adjusted and we’re confident that the bottom of the cycle, at least in the local context, has been reached,” he said.

“Vendors know their properties are in demand as more and more buyers from different demographics are attracted to an area that balances strong transport connections with scenic greenery and relative affordability.”

According to Mr Cameron, activity in the local market is increasing by “multiple measures”.

“While there’s a prevailing stock shortage, market appraisal activity has picked up in recent weeks, and as spring approaches, we expect more homes to become available,” he said.

“This will be important to meet the groundswell of interest from buyers, including first home buyers, who recognise that current market conditions represent a sound purchasing opportunity.”

Laing+Simmons network growth manager Travis Wentriro said the business prioritises its existing team members when new opportunities arise, including in areas in which it already has a strong presence, which resulted in the new ownership.

“It’s central to our value proposition to provide career progression opportunities for all members of the Laing+Simmons family, and this includes business ownership opportunities,” Mr Wentriro said.

“Garry and Greg are without question two of the leading agents in western Sydney and… we look forward to working with [them] and the Kings Langley | Kings Park team in this next phase of their evolution, and help them cement their market-leading position in the local catchment.”

The business is also looking to hire more property management professionals to the team.

Most recently, Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill on Sydney’s North Shore expanded to the other side of the Lane Cove River, opening a new office in the suburb of Lane Cove.
