Real estate agents in Victoria have access to a new forms and contract platform that will be a valuable source for property law.

Forms Live has expanded into the state, and it has announced Colin Biggers & Paisley as its consultant on Victorian property law.

The alignment will mean there are 20 forms and contracts available through its system, which is purpose-built for the Victoria real estate market.

It will be regularly monitored and updated as legislation changes and more contracts are added to the system.

With Colin Biggers & Paisley as its consultant, agents can access the best technical integrations for forms with the most up-to-date legal drafting for forms and compliance, Dynamic Methods CEO David Howell said.

“Colin Biggers & Paisley is recognised for having the best property legal team in the country and counts some of Victoria’s biggest real estate groups, developers and construction companies among its clients,” Mr Howell said.

“Having them as our legal advisers demonstrates how seriously we’re taking the issue of compliance. All the forms and contracts within the Forms Live platform have been drafted and vetted by the best property legal minds in the state.”

The alignment with Colin Biggers & Paisley was because of the firm’s expansive property knowledge; it was the first legal practice in Australia to develop an online property exchange platform.

“We’ve been impressed with the diligence that Dynamic Methods has put into their launch of Forms Live in Victoria and their respect for the importance of the legal details that go into each and every one of their forms and contracts,” Colin Biggers & Paisley partner and national head of property Rhett Oliver said.

The alignment means Forms Live is now available in every state.

“Victorian agents have been locked into old and inefficient ways of producing forms and contracts for years because of restrictions about how they needed to be purchased and used,” Mr Howell said.
